Good Faith Estimate and No Surprises Act
Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to provide clients who are uninsured or not using insurance with a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for medical and mental health services.
At Sage Wellness KC, we believe in transparency and helping clients make informed decisions about their care.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your therapy services before you begin treatment or at any time upon request. This estimate includes the anticipated costs of services provided at Sage Wellness KC.
Please note that a Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not obligate you to receive services. Actual costs may vary depending on your individual treatment needs, frequency of sessions, scheduling changes, or additional services that may become clinically appropriate over time.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill through the federal dispute resolution process.
